C’est à l’occasion du lancement de son nouveau parfum féminin «elle» et de sa participation à la FIAC que YSL a décidé de créer aussi l’événement et sa conférence de presse avec Andreamedia pour concevoir un espace : une galerie YSL – elle – sur Second Life, entièrement dédiée à l’expression artistique.

Ainsi YSL a fait appel aux artistes, à la FIAC et sur le net, pour organiser un concours : appel à la création «express yourself» sur le sujet : “elle” : Qui est-elle ? Audacieuse, imprévisible, artiste, séductrice… comment la voyez vous ?

Parmi tous les participants : 3 artistes ont retenu l’attention de YSL : Milo et Poca TAE et Karin WESTERFELD / FARRJONES sur SL.

Ils exposent dans ce nouvel espace dans des conditions que la marque luxueuse a voulues à son image…

Second life / espace ludique en 3D (qui compte 10 millions d’inscrits), résolument Hype, ainsi que YSL pour elle(s) vous invitent à la découverte de cette exposition.

La visite de la galerie virtuelle de Second Life sur l’Ile de Yves St Laurent permet aux visiteurs de découvrir les œuvres de Karin WESTERFELD de sa série des “Meduses” et le très beau texte de Milo qui accompagne les images de sa douce Poca TAE sur ses “Fleurs Kaléidoscopiques” > voir liens “A propos de…”

Merci à YSL et à son équipe d’avoir permis aux artistes de figurer sur SL pour cette exposition résolument Hype.
Et à Laurent et Gromike pour la qualité du concept et de l’accrochage.

Les oeuvres ont été visibles sur Second Life du 24 au 31 oct 2007 – sur l’île de YSL > voir Diaporama

Attention, un peu d’expérience est nécessaire pour être sur SECOND LIFE, si vous n’y êtes jamais allé : créer son avatar, se déplacer, se téléporter… : Second Life est un accès gratuit, il faut juste télécharger le soft / un petit guide que vous trouverez sur SLobserver :

Grand opening day > 23th of October in YSL art gallery in Second Life

Exhibition is open to visits anytime from the 24th to the 31st of October 2007 / Cloture party: 18h > 22h, if you want to meet with the artists. Type YSL in SL search engine > teleport to “elle – YSL” island to discover their artworks.

It is for the launch of his new fragrance «elle» paired with his actual sponsoring of the FIAC that YSL has also decided to build an event and a press conference with Andreamedia by opening an island: an art gallery YSL – elle – on Second Life fully dedicated to artistic expression.

Residents and non residents artists have been requested to submit their artwork at la FIAC and over the internet for an “express-yourself” contest on the subject (in french): “elle” : Qui est-elle ? Audacieuse, imprévisible, artiste, séductrice… comment la voyez vous ?

Among all participants, 3 artists have hold attention of YSL:
Milo et Poca TAE et Karin WESTERFELD / FARRJONES sur SL.

They are exposing in this new area in conditions that the brand, got tailored to its luxurious image.

Second life / 3D internet base virtual world, totally Hype (over 10 millions of subscribers), and YSL for “elle“ are inviting you to visit the exposition.

A tour of the art gallery of Yves Saint Laurent on Second Life will present visitors a view of Karin WESTERFELD’s artwork, especially her “Medusas” suite, as well as the very touchy text of Milo giving an echo to the “Kaleidoscopic Flowers” images created by his partner Poca TAE. > See “About …” sections.

Thanks to YSL and all his team for providing the artists a dedicated island to show their artwork in SL for this exposition totally Hype. Also thanks to Laurent and Gromike for the quality of the local arrangements.

NB : Cloture evening with the artists (IM them to get a teleportation to the gallery) : 31st of October – 18 h / 22 h / GMT+1. Bring friends !!

Be aware, entering and discovering Second life requires a bit of learning if you never entered the World: create your avatar, move, teleport yourself …
